Being an engineer/designer, John was able to visualize the labyrinth in his mind and created it by mowing the two-acre Wolf Lair Hill field without laying it out first. it is mostly a classic 7 labyrinth, with some extra details on the long sides, because he wanted to cover the entire field. The gentle hill becomes quite the workout; over 2.5 KM up and down to complete the journey.
