Schedule:
The labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral is usually covered with chairs. The schedule changes from year to year but in the recent past the labyrinth has been uncovered and available to walk most Fridays from approximately 10:00 am (after morning mass & lauds) until 5:30 pm (before evening mass) starting in Lent (March or April) through All Saints Day (October). The labyrinth is not open on Good Friday, during certain pilgrimage times in May, during one Friday in September (which changes from year to year depending on the concert schedule), or during certain cathedral events that are scheduled at the last moment, such as funerals, etc.

Il faut passer le parc d'accrobranche Parc Ecureuil sur la gauche, puis l'école d'ostéopathie animale sur la droite ensuite dans un virage il faut prendre à droite un grand sentier forestier en caillou. Attention aux trous... allez jusqu'au point où il y a des panneaux pédagogiques, un abri et un point d'eau. - From Chatel Guyon, take the D227 in the direction of Loubeyrat, pass the Parc Ecureuil tree climbing park on the left, then the animal osteopathy school on the right, then on a bend you take a large stone forest path to the right. Watch out for the potholes and go to the point where there are educational panels, a shelter and a water point.

Find the labyrinth close to the Tourist Office in this lively central square (Place du 18 juin) which runs parallel to, and behind, Boulevard du Boramar (above the beach). The labyrinth is situated between two large plane trees and is completely flat, forming the central paving of the square. This labyrinth was dedicated, according to its central stone, at 1am on 1st January 2000 - a labyrinth for a new millennium. Note: website provided for location, it has no labyrinth information.
