It was built on a high spot on the beach away from tides, but could be swept away by a big storm. There is no organization to tend to it, so it is available until nature takes it back to the sea.
Directions/notes:
This labyrinth is on an island and is only reachable by boat, ferry, or water taxi. Half the island is a state park but this is located on the private side of the island. However the beach is open to the public.

Constructed and dedicated in 1995 by the Floral City Garden Club, this 20 foot diameter labyrinth is constructed of red and yellow brick. One follows the red brick path. It is located in the Floral City Community Memorial Garden on county-owned property and is between the Library and the Masonic Lodge. There are plantings and seating in the Garden. Floral City is a small, rural, historic village that is un-incorporated. It also, has a small National Historic District and celebrates its heritage annually on the first Saturday of December. The Floral City Garden Club developed the Garden in 1993 and the Labyrinth in 1995. They continue to maintain this community garden and the Labyrinth.
