The Park Island labyrinth was created in a naturally sloping amphitheatre offering visitors tranquillity with views of the Zandvlei estuary and the Muizenberg and Steenberg Peaks in the Table Mountain Reserve. The path is defined by a one-metre border of rehabilitated, endangered Cape Dune Strandveld vegetation which is endemic to the area.

Directions/notes:
Directions: take the N1 to Bloem, go through Grasmere Plaza, take the Sasolburg van der Bijl R57 turnoff. Turn left onto the Golden Highway (the R57). Cross over the Vaal River, drive past Sasolburg and the factories. Cross over the railway bridge. Cross over the R82 at the stop street, drive up the hill.Turn left at the next turnoff onto the R549 towards Deneysville. (you will see a sign to Koppies) Travel 18.4 km. Turn right onto the R716 towards Oranjeville. You will see two large reservoirs. Travel past the Ramangotso location . After about 6km, look for 8 dilapidated klinker brick houses and and a white for sale board on the left. The entrance to the farm South Bay Emanzini is set into the left just after the for sale board. Turn into the farm. Follow the dirt road as it winds to the right and past a thatch gatehouse, where you will need to call 0795510289 to open and close the gate under the thatch. (wait about 10 seconds for the gate to open) Continue straight until you get to the second thatch gatehouse. The code to open the gate on the right is 9111#. Please close it to keep the cows out. Turn immediately left to follow the gravel road as it winds past a mustard house and a thatch house. Follow the road until you get to number 5. Our house has a terracotta roof. We're the last house on the cul de sac. Travel safely.
