- Relatively permanent until University Alaska lands sells or develops the gravel pit. Not in immediate future plans.
- Directions/notes:
- This property is managed by the University of Alaska (Fairbanks), there are trails that connect multiple land owners that have agreed on the Matanuska Greenbelt Association. We added the labyrinth in the gravel pit that is part of the trail system. It is about quarter mile hike on gravel roads to access from the Farm Trail Head - a few hundred feet further up the hill on the right beyond the electrical sub station, where there is limited parking. There is a steep 300 feet of 13% grade that is not wheel chair friendly.
