Our 3 circuit labyrinth is built with good measurement and is connected to the mandala of the sun. Because of this, it is a strong instrument to open the 1st chakra and the opens the central channel. After walking to the center and back, you can feel your self seated in your body and connected to the earth. It is very grounding and a great tool for people that fly out of their bodies easily.

625 S. 8th Ave.
Brighton, Colorado 80601

Directions/notes:
Brighton is located 22 miles northeast of Denver, a twenty-minute drive from Denver International Airport. The Brighton Labyrinth is made of a variety of Rocky Mountain stone including Platte River rock, golden pea gravel, green cobblestone, deep red and burgundy volcanic rock, and cement slabs. At the entrance, one faces southwest and begins by walking into the prevailing wind. The wind (ruach or breath of God) baptizes and washes over one and carries away his/her burdens. Upon exiting, one faces northeast. As one walks out, the pneuma haggion or holy spirit from God is at his/her back and carries him/her out into the world strengthened, re-energized, and ready to work in his/her ministry. Our labyrinth, designed by us, was built by more than 50 volunteers, ranging in age from 3 years to 88 years, between May and September, 2008. We have incorporated colorful local stone using its symbolic value in Scripture: red (Adam, humankind, healing, crucifixion, forgiveness), grey and black (the dark night of the soul, the moment just before "God spoke"), white (purity, victory), green (mystery, life, hope, Christ), gold (honor), and deep red (cleansing). Walk carefully. Our labyrinth, like life, is not consistently smooth. People with disabilities ought to be especially careful. Some seating will be provided for those who grow weary on the walk. Remember, the Labyrinth is at a elevation of nearly 1 mile above sea level. Two southwestern awnings are under construction and each will include: insets of stained glass from the great cathedral at Chartres, France.
