5-circuit modified Chartres-style, it is composed of numerous edible and fragrant herbs, perennial flowers and shrubs which are labeled for your enjoyment. Some of the herbs are used by our chef. The labyrinth also contains an abundance of Quartz specimens all of which are native to the property. In rock lore, Quartz represents power and clarity. It is believed to enhance energy by absorbing, storing, amplifying, balancing, focusing and transmitting. Quartz can also help to dispel negativity, and because it is said to clarify through processes and emotions, it can boost inspiration and creativity. The 7' diameter center contains a "sunburst" design made of flagstone.
